Open task manager, then select the performance tab to see how many cores and logical processors the processor on a windows device has. As far as i know, the number of threads in my processor should be far more than 3. Here's an overview of how to find device specification requirements, versions, and languages available for windows 11

Read here for more information on system requirements and information on how some pcs might be able to update or change settings to meet the requirements. Then i found that in my excel options, use all processors on this computer displays only 3 The system information (msinfo32.exe) tool and the performance tab of task manager display incorrect processor sockets number, cores number, l1 cache and l2 cache sizes.
Today i was browsing on youtube on how to optimize my pc for gaming and i stumbled on something called how to use all of your cores so i followed along
I went to the device manager and went to see how many cores i had. I need the processor speed, number of cores, and number of logical processors I feel like i should be able to use windows powershell to do this, but i am not certain. A general estimation is that 1 vcpu = 1 physical cpu core
However, this is not entirely correct, as the vcpu is made up of time slots across all available physical cores, so in general 1vcpu is actually more powerful than a single core, especially if the physical cpus have 8 cores. Not sure the context here but if for server licensing then don't count logical cores, only physical cores So take the sum of each processor listed in msinfo32 times the cores to get the actual core count. Is there a programmatic way to detect the current p & e cores
